Editorial policy

Trip reports are records of hikes the author actually walked, with photos taken by the author. Explainer articles are compiled from official information (municipalities, mountain huts, transport operators, the Japan Meteorological Agency, the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan, manufacturers) and other reliable sources, and are written as research-based information, not personal experience.

Articles are reviewed by the author and updated when trail conditions, restrictions, fees, timetables or opening periods change. Always confirm the latest information with official announcements.

Photos are taken by the author or used under their licenses (for example Creative Commons from Wikimedia Commons). Third-party photos carry credit and license information.
